Training consists of 150 hours, split evenly between classroom study and supervised clinical hours, which must be followed by 80 hours of orientation once employed. Certified Nursing Assistant License in Delaware

In order to become certified as a Nursing Assistant in Delaware, students must take the national Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) exam through D & S Diversified Technologies, LLP and it costs $136. A license must be renewed every two years, which requires sixty-four hours of employment in “nursing related activity” over the previous two years. Renewal is free.
