Rhode Island CNA Training
CNA training in Rhode Island is regulated by the Rhode Island Department of Health. Training courses must include at least 100 hours of training, with a minimum of 20 hours in a hands-on clinical setting, and taking no longer than three months and as little as one. As per federal law, it is possible to receive reimbursement for training and examination costs if employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant before, during, or within twelve months of completion of the program, making it very affordable to enter a health care career as a CNA.

CNA licenses in Rhode Island are issued after passing a test administered by the training program at which a Certified Nursing Assistant has completed their studies.
