How to Do an LPN to BSN in North Carolina

AN LPN to BSN program in North Carolina requires not only good grades in previous training, but also recommendations from current employers for application. This is for good reason—an LPN to BSN program is a three year commitment and covers everything you need to become a dynamic Registered Nurse with superior knowledge of nursing practice, theories, concepts and research.

Upon completion of course work with satisfactory grades, one receives a Bachelor of Science, Nursing, and takes the RN licensure exam—the NCLEX-RN. The North Carolina Board of Nursing requires a $70 application fee and a criminal background check and exam administrators Pearson Vue require a payment of $200 to take the test. Around 90 percent of student pass the NCLEX-RN on their first try and are ready to begin working as an RN with a BSN, and a plethora of new job opportunities.
