Applying to an LPN to BSN education program in Utah requires both transcripts from previous education and employer recommendations, as well as any records of volunteer experience and current licensure as an LPN. Studies in nursing practice, theories, concepts and research take three years and lead to a Bachelor of Science, Nursing. At the end of the course work, students apply to the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing and pay a $95 application and fingerprinting fee, then take the $200 NLCEX-RN via Pearson Vue.
