North Dakota CNA Training
North Dakota CNA training is overseen by The North Dakota Department of Health. Training courses consist of the federally established minimum of 75 hours of training, with at least 16 hours in the classroom and 16 hours of hands-on clinical instruction, and can be completed in as little as two weeks. Furthermore, it is possible to receive reimbursement for training and examination costs if employed as a Nurse Aide before, during, or within twelve months of completion of the program, making it very easy and efficient to become a CNA in the state.
CNA License in North Dakota
CNA licenses in North Dakota are issued after passing a test administered by D & S Diversified Technologies, LLP. The two-part test includes a written examination and a skills demonstration component, which costs just under $100 to take. Once one has successfully passed the CNA exam and registered with the North Dakota Nurse Aide I Registry, certification must be renewed every two years with proof of at least eight hours of employment as a Certified Nursing Assistant over the same time period.
