New Hampshire CNA Training

CNA training in New Hampshire is regulated by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing and is widely available. Training courses consist of a minimum of 100 hours of training, split between classroom and hands-on clinical instruction, and often run longer to ensure that you are well-prepared to begin a career as a CNA. While they cost upwards of $1000 in the state, it is possible to receive 100 percent reimbursement after training is completed and you have been hired in a long-term care facility. Further courses are available after the LNA I introductory course, such as LNA II which further qualifies a Certified Nursing Assistant to carry out additional duties and receive higher pay.

Certified Nursing Assistant License in New Hampshire

Pearson Vue is responsible for testing for CNA (LNA) licenses through a two-part test including a written examination and a skills demonstration test at a cost of $125, with an additional $40 registration fee. Once one has successfully passed the CNA exam and registered with the New Hampshire CNA registry, certification must be renewed every two years with proof of at least 200 hours of employment as a Certified Nursing Assistant and 12 hours of continuing education over the same time period and at a cost of $35.
