Currently working Registered Nurses can complete their BSN in the most efficient way possible through an RN to BSN program. Often offered online, course work can be tailored to student needs and schedules. By taking NLN Nursing Acceleration Challenge Exams, students with on-the-job skills and knowledge can bypass some courses and complete their degree quicker than in a traditional BSN program. Entry is based not only on previous grades and experience, but also on professional references, work experience, and volunteer activities; and once accepted course work in an RN to BSN center upon advanced nursing processes, research and theory.
